N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run reports for the week of August 6th through the 13th.
According to Fire Chief Jim Ruether’s report, there were a total of six calls this week, making the total calls responded to this year to 171. Below is a full list of details, dates, times, and locations of each call that the JFD responded to this past week.
August 7th, 8:50AM, ready squad responded to 2605 Circle Drive, NDSH-Lahaug Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 25 minutes.
August 7th, 2:49PM, fire department heavy rescue squad responded to Highway 281 South and Highway 46 east 3 miles to a report of vehicle in a slough unknowing if someone was in it. Firefighters checked the vehicle and law enforcement investigated. No rescue needed. Time out 55 minutes.
August 8th, 2:30AM, ready squad responded to 1426 Gardenette Drive SE, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0ppm was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Time out 45 minutes.
August 10th, 1:51PM, ready squad responded to 300 2nd Ave NE, Sanford Clinic, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-construction activity activated the fire alarm. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 10 minutes.
August 12th, 5:57AM, ready squad responded to 316 13th St SW, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-systems malfunction. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 35 minutes.
August 13th, 7:54AM, ready squad responded to 222 1st Ave South, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-power outage. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 15 minutes.
