N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has set the states early Canada Goose season as well as bag limits and licensing requirements.
The season is slated to start August 15th and run through September 15th, except in the Missouri River Zone where it will end September 7th. Game and Fish Biologist Doug Leier pointed out some of the regulations with the upcoming early season.
Early hunting season is intended to reduce local Canada goose numbers. Hunters can purchase a license or get more information through the North Dakota Game and Fish Department website gf.nd.gov or by calling 800-406-6409.
