(NewsDakota.com) As the calendar shifts to mid-August, it’s about that time to send the kids back to school, and teachers along with administrators to head on back to work.
Headlines in the last few weeks have indicated a shortage of teachers throughout the state of North Dakota, but the Oakes School District is not one of those seeking to fill vacancies going into the 2015-16 academic year.
Now going into his third year, Oakes Superintendent Josh Johnson says he and the district are ready to go and excited for the upcoming school year.
The first day of school in Oakes is Wednesday, August 26.
