CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) The VFW Club in Valley City will stay open under new management. About 30 members voted to keep the VFW open and search for a new manager during a special meeting held on August 11.

An interim manager will run the club until a new manager is named at a later date. The name of the interim manager is Rocky Earls.

Senior Vice Commander Tom Nix said starting on Monday, August 17 the club will again be open Monday through Saturday.

The club is accepting applications for bartenders and a cook.

Here are some of the other events being held at the VFW Club in Valley City, bonanza bingo every Monday through Friday including Thursday night Bingo. The meat raffle will be held every Friday. And burgers will be served every Saturday from 11am to 1:30pm.

The VFW Club also serves breakfast Monday through Friday from 6am to 11am.

And this Sunday, August 16 the maintenance breakfast will be held from 8am to 1pm. And every third Sunday monthly at the VFW Club.

But this week the VFW Club will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Again on Monday, August 17 the club will be open Monday through Saturday.
