N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run report for July 31st through August 6th this year.

According to Fire Chief Jim Ruether, a total of 165 calls including the ones this week have been responded to by the City Fire Department. Last year, they responded to a total of 268 calls. You can view a full list of dates, times and descriptions of all calls responded to by the Fire Department.

July 31st, 6:46AM, ready squad responded to 2422 20th St SW, Jamestown Regional Medical Center, to investigate gas smell. Firefighters checked the area and structure and no gas leak was detected. Cause-air handling system pulled smell in from outside. Time out 35 minutes.

August 4th, 12:45PM, fire department responded to 314 5th Ave SE, to a report of a garage on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-under investigation. No injuries reported. Time out 55 minutes.

August 4th, 11:53PM, fire department responded to 607 2nd Ave NE, to a report of a vehicle on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-under investigation. No injuries reported. Time out 1 hour.

August 6th, 9:30AM, ready squad responded to 510 9th Ave SW, Victory Lutheran Church, to investigate smoke odor. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-electrical malfunction. Time out 55 minutes.
