(NewsDaktoa.com) – The University of Jamestown has a new offensive coordinator after the resignation of Josh Kittell last month. Jason Challeen will return to lead the Jimmie offense after spending 2007-09 in Jamestown as the offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator.
Challeen left in 2009 after accepting a coaching position at the University of Mary as Assistant Head Coach and Special Teams Coordinator. Most recently he was the Offensive Coordinator Coach at Mt. Ida College. He brings 22 years of coaching experience.
“We are excited that Jason has been chosen to return to oversee the Jimmie offense,” Frank says. “He brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, and he’s an outstanding recruiter”
Challeen states “My family and I are thrilled to be back at the University of Jamestown and coaching for the Jimmie Football program. Jamestown is a very special place that holds many special memories both on and off the field.”
