N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run report for July 9th through the 23rd.

According to Fire Chief Jim Ruether, the department has responded to a total of 151 calls so far this year. Last year, the department responded to 268 total calls. Below is a full list of dates, times and descriptions of each run that they have responded to July 9th through the 23rd.

July 13th, 11:39PM, fire department responded to 424 1st Ave N, to a report of a vehicle on fire. Fire was out upon arrival of fire units, firefighters investigated. Cause-electrical malfunction. No injuries reported. Time out 40 minutes.

July 14th, 3:02PM, ready squad responded to 1300 2nd Place NE, Eventide, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-accidental alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 15 minutes.

July 15th, 3:19PM, ready squad responded to 1108 5th Ave NE, Community Action, to investigate smoke smell. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unknown. Time out 20 minutes.

July 19th, 12:58PM, ready squad responded to 310 1st Ave S, to investigate a small fuel spill. Firefighters checked the area spread floor dry to absorb it. Cause-accidental spill. Time out 15 minutes.

July 20th, 11:30AM, ready squad responded to 1615 2nd Place NE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0ppm was detected. Cause-unknown. Time out 30 minutes.

July 20th, 10:19PM, ready squad responded to 229 Northland Estates, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate gas smell in the structure. Firefighters checked the structure and detected natural gas. Advised home owner to leave the windows open. Cause-accidentally turned on gas valve. Time out 40 minutes.

July 22nd, 12:27PM, ready squad responded to 2605 Circle Drive, NDSH-Lahaug Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-accidental alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 40 minutes.

July 22nd, 3:15PM, ready squad responded to 421 18th St NE, Heritage Center, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-systems malfunction. Firefighters advised them that they would need to implement a 24 hour fire watch until system was repaired. Time out 30 minutes.

July 23rd, 8:43AM, ready squad responded to 1300 2nd Place NE, Eventide, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-water flow alarm activated the alarm. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 15 minutes.

July 23rd, 5:27PM, fire department responded to 103 1st Ave South, Sabirs Buffalo Grille, to a report of smoke. Firefighters checked the area and the structure, no fire. Cause-exhaust from the kitchen. No injuries reported. Time out 20 minutes.
