N.D.  (newsdakota.com)  The 2015 Central Region legion baseball tourney started Wednesday with eight teams and today two of those teams would be eliminated.  After No. 1 Carrington Post 25 was upset by the number eight seed Hillsboro/Central Valley 10-6 yesterday, Post 25 rebounded today and beat New Rockford 11-1 in five innings by 10-run rule.  New Rockford ends their season at 7-9 and 9-11 overall.

In the bottom of the first inning in today’s game, lead-off man Easton Paeper hit a blast to center field for the first homerun of the tourney and put Post 25 up quickly 1-0.  Post 25 sent nine batters to the plate scoring four runs in the bottom of the first and never looked backed.  New Rockford Post 30 scored their only run of the game in the second inning when Kaleb Haley knocked in Tyrus Smith.  Braxton Hewitt for Post 25 was 4-for-4 with four singles and an RBI and scored a run.  Paeper was 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored.
