N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Lead-off man Easton Paeper and clean-up batter Patrick Freeman had three hits each, including two doubles each, as Post 25 comes back from a 4-0 deficit and beats the Bismarck Representatives 7-5 last night at Carrington City Park.  Freeman also hit in three runs, while Paeper hit in one.  Both teams will go into their respective region tourneys on Wednesday with a 22-7 overall record.

The Reps would come out of the gates right away in the top of the first inning scoring three runs and then another in the fourth inning.  Carrington would get their first runs of the game in the fifth inning, sending eight batters to the plate and scoring three runs.  After the Reps would score another run in the top of the seventh on a Logan Morse RBI single, Post 25 would tie the score in the bottom of the seventh inning and add two more runs the bottom of the eighth.  Post 25 used a total of five pitchers, starter Alex Jarrett worked five innings, then Freeman, Braxton Hewitt, Brady Smith and Paeper all worked one inning.  Smith was the winning pitcher, Paeper picked up the save.  

Next up for Carrington will be Wednesday against Hillsboro/Central Valley in the first game of the day at the Central Regional Tourney in Hatton, pregame about 10:45am on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com, first pitch at 11am.  Carrington is the regular season champs in the Central Region and is the overall number one seed going into the tourney tomorrow through Sunday.  HCV is the number eight seed.  All Carrington and New Rockford games for the Central Regional will be broadcast on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com.  Host and No. 4 seed Hatton will play No. 5 New Rockford about 6:30pm tomorrow night, pregame about 6:15pm on KDAK and newsdakota.com.
