CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) There was some tension as members of the Valley City Education Association and the Valley City School district negotiations committee met to try and finalize the negotiating process on July 16.

The committee has been negotiating for two months on proposed adjustments concerning health insurance, a base salary increase, personal leave days and class load size.

The Valley City school board will hold an executive session meeting on July 21 to discuss the latest VCEA proposals.  Another Negotiations Committee meeting will be held on July 27.
