Jorissen, 100, Valley City, North Dakota, died peacefully on July 16, 2015.  Angelia Elaine Murray was born September 2, 1914 to Joseph and Marguerite (Ziellie) Murray.  On February 11, 1935 she married Frederick Jorissen.  They farmed in the Barnes County area and settled near Leal, North Dakota, in the 1940s.

Their family consists of four children, Frederick, Jr. (Betty) Jorissen, Valley City; Marlene (Delmore) Sorenson, Surprise, Arizona; Carolyn (Brian) Gaarder, Fargo, North Dakota; and Dale (JoAnne) Jorissen, Rogers, North Dakota; 12 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick in 1990, her parents, and two brothers, Basil and Everett.

The funeral service will be 2 pm Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour before the service in the chapel.  Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Valley City.
