CITY, ND – Planning is underway for the 2015 Walk & Wag-a-thon! This year, it’ll be held August 30 in Chautauqua Park
There’s a number of animals needing new homes. SVFA is happy to do courtesy listings for people needing to find a new home for their pets too. We list the animals on our Facebook page, our website, as well as on our Petfinder and Adopt-a-pet pages.
Interested people will contact the owners directly to find out more information. If you ever need to use this service, don’t ever hesitate to contact us! info@svfanimals.org or 701-840-5047
SVFA has a Spay/Neuter assistance program? That has a separate phone number, and they have funds budgeted to help with spaying and neutering of pets for people who may not be able to afford the full cost. 701-840-1334. Remember SVFA annual Spay/Neuter discount week will be in September.
Are you interested in becoming part of the SVFA team? We are in need of Foster Homes (everything is provided except the love!), Lost & Found team members (Phone rotation, assisting with animal transport, etc), and Board Members. If you’d like more info on any of these, just give us a holler!
There are a few animals up for adoption:
Georgia really wants a forever home with an older person that is home a lot and will take lots of naps with her! She’s a 5 year old gray cat who loves everyone that comes along! She’s on an antihistamine every day, but she takes it just fine when its wrapped in a treat. It’s less than $15 a month for the pills and treats.
Ozzy is a declawed orange cat looking for a home. He loves everyone! He gets along well with cats and dogs and kids and adults. He needs to be an inside only cat being he’s declawed.
Prince the pitbull, and Nelly the black and white cat both have people interested in them. But, if you’re interested call Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals at 840-5047.
