CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Valley City Administrator David Schelkoph said the city has rescinded its 30 day notice to Valley Recycling. He said the city wants more time to discuss options on how to improve recycling services.

Schelkoph said two businesses have expressed an interested in being a part of any future bidding process.

Schelkoph said the city would like to have two sites available for residents to drop off their recycling materials. He said some people would like to explore the option of curbside service.

Valley Recycling’s contract with the city is up for renewal in October.
