Ann Lobsinger (Guttormson), 62, Valley City, North Dakota, passed from this earth on July 8, in the year 2015, due to natural causes.

Sharon was born on March 9, 1953, to Arthur and Melba Guttormson.  She graduated from Verona (ND) High School in 1972.  She then enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged May 18, 1973.

Sharon became an RN at Jamestown Hospital where she befriended Michelle Lobsinger.  She later married Michelle’s brother, Thomas Eugene Lobsinger.  On January 12, 1978, they had a son, Travis Lee Lobsinger.

She had various other jobs and currently was working as a dietary aide at the Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City.   She participated in many activities with her friends and loved ones.  She was a friend to anyone who needed her, and she always had room in her heart to love all her “children”.

Sharon is survived by her son, Travis Lobsinger, Valley City; brothers and sisters, Dennis (Wanda) Guttormson, Jamestown, ND; Lois (Darrell) Mennis, Fort Ransom, ND; Jackie (Harley) Fink, Forman, ND; Suzan Jacobson, Valley City; Bonnie (Roy) Buttke, Nome, ND; Marlene (Daniel) Mahar, Hastings, ND; John (Tina) Guttormson, Fort Ransom, ND; and David Guttormson, Lisbon, ND.  Many nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Brian Guttormson.

The funeral service for Sharon will be 2 pm Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City, with Pastor Virginia Davy officiating.  Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at the funeral chapel and will continue one hour before the service.  Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery, Fort Ransom, North Dakota.
