CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Two people were injured from fireworks during the July 4th weekend in Valley City.

Fire Chief Gary Retterath said one man’s eye was seriously injured and the man had to be transported to a Minneapolis Hospital for treatment.

The condition of the man has not been released.
