ROCKFORD, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  After sweeping Hope/Finley earlier this week and splitting with May/Port last week, Post 25 has moved into first place in the Central region in Class B Legion Baseball.  Post 25 picked up another victory on Thursday night, defeating New Rockford Post 30 13-9.  Carrington is now 6-1 and 9-4 overall, NR is now 2-3 and 2-3 overall.  

Braxton Hewitt was the winning pitcher, throwing five innings, allowing six hits, five runs, three walks and four strikeouts.  Seth Gilles took the loss.  Easton Paeper was 3-for-4 at the plate with two doubles and three runs scored for Post 25.  Gilles at the plate was 2-for-3 with two RBI and scored three runs.  

Next up for Carrington is the Minot Vistas Invitational Tourney starting Friday through Sunday.
