(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes Post 36 American Legion baseball team has played Lisbon Post 7 three times this season, and all three games have seen Oakes come out on top.

Such was the case again Wednesday night at Sandagger Park as Post 36 rolled past Post 7 13-1 in five innings in a Class B Southeast Region contest.

Oakes scored nine run on five hits in the fifth inning and sent up 15 players to bat in the inning. Bryce Meehl and Cole Kelly each had a double. Defensively, Post 36 allowed just three hits as Michael Kelly struck out seven batters. 

Post 36 (7-3) heads to Enderlin Thursday night to face Enderlin Post 221 (5-3), while Post 7 (0-6) will be in LaMoure battling Post 19 (3-4).
