N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Downtown Association has announced a 1st Annual Rods, Hogs & Things That Go Vroom event that will take place downtown on Saturday, June 27th starting at Noon.
President of the JDA Lynn Lambrecht stated that this first event was focused on having all car, bike and motor enthusiast to come out and support local clubs. According to Lambrecht, Jamestown has over 20 clubs alone.
This inspired the Jamestown Downtown Association to hold a festival to celebrate and promote all of these clubs.
Several awards have been prepared for Best Bike, Best Car and Best Club Participation with $500 cash prizes provided by Ypsi Bar & Grill, Kleins Collision Center and First Community Credit Union. Each category will be judged by the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.
