CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) A motorcyclist was injured after his bike was struck by a car at the intersection of Central and 2nd Street Northwest yesterday afternoon just before 4pm in Valley City.

Police say a man was transported to Mercy Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injures. The crash remains under investigation.

Meanwhile fire fighters responded to a report of van on fire east of Taco Johns in Valley City.

Fire Chief Gary Retterath said there was no fire. He said a radiator hose broke and small amount of white steam was visible rising from the engine compartment.
