CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Barnes County is looking to hire an assistant Emergency Manager who would also be the assistant 911 coordinator.

The commission approved of advertising the position with a minimum hourly wage starting $16.42 per hour or more depending on years of experience.

Meanwhile, Emergency Manager and 9-1-1 coordinator Kim Franklin said the Barnes County is hiring more dispatchers.

Franklin said Barnes County has four full time dispatchers, one part-time and two in training.
