GAP, ND – Famous headliner bands have joined forces with Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch west of Medora, to raise funds for North Dakota’s soldiers. Join them on Father’s Day weekend, June 19-21, while Sawyer Brown, the Bart Crow Band, and many other bands contribute to this cause. It will be a three day, non-stop celebration in the Badlands.
Each ticket is $80, which covers the whole weekend of great music. Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch will have camping available along the beautiful hills.
A retired U.S. Army Green Beret veteran has helped Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch commit to this fundraiser, which will host two Real Country Jams, one this weekend and a second this August.
The name Fallen Soldiers was given to the event because it can honor a soldier or a family. This year BGGR is honoring two North Dakota soldiers who were wounded in battle, and will be awarding each of them with $25,000 along with a new vehicle from Parkway Ford in Dickinson, ND. All ticket sales will go to these proceeds.
Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch media coordinator Codi Miller talked with KOVC radio’s Steve Urness about the meaning behind this event that will be held this Friday, Saturday & Sunday just 5 minutes west of Medora.
During the festivals free parking and shuttle services will be available around the ranch. The event is for all ages, and does have discounted tickets available for military.
