N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A driver and two passengers were injured when they collided with another vehicle near Anamoose that closed Highway 52 for five hours.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that Frederick Eslinger, 62, was towing a camper trailer with a Dodge pickup northbound on Highway 14 when he failed to yield at the intersection with Highway 52 at Anamoose. His pickup was then struck on its right side by a westbound semi. Eslinger and his two passengers were injured with one needing to be airlifted to Trinity Hospital in Minot. Eslinger and the other passenger were transported to Harvey, where they were treated for minor injuries. The semi driver was not injured.

Eslinger was cited for failure to yield. The case is still under investigation.
