N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown City Engineer Reed Schwartzkopf has been hard at work getting final comments back from groups and agencies in regards to the Land Use and Transportation Plan.
According to Schwartzkopf, engineers and developers have taken much of the public comment and input into consideration for future projects in the community. The plan will be used to update infrastructure and promote growth in Jamestown. The list of projects was presented to the DOT after consultants looked it over.
Schwartzkopf pointed out that a smaller list of projects was compiled to focus on in the first part of the plan.
The plan is still contingent on public comment and input. Two public hearings have been scheduled in Jamestown for residents to learn more about the plan, ask questions and state concerns. The hearings are scheduled for June 22nd and July 6th during City planned meetings. You can find the plan on the City website or contact the Jamestown City Hall for more information.
