(NewsDakota.com) – For the third time in as many doubleheaders the Jamestown Post 14 legion baseball team split. They welcomed the Dickinson Roughriders to Jack Brown Stadium and won the opener 7-5. Post 14 dropped the second game 5-3. Jamestown’s record now sits at 3-3.

Tyler Ukestad picked up his second win of the season on the mound going six innings while yielding five runs and 10 hits. He gave up just one run in the final three innings after Dickinson scored four in the third. Brian Wenzel worked the 7th for the save, it was the only 1-2-3 inning of the game for Jamestown.

Nate Soulis drove in a total of five runs on the day, a pair of sacrifice flys in game one and a three-run triple in game two.

Jamestown returns to Jack Brown Stadium on Friday to host the Moorhead Blues. They will also host West Fargo on Monday.
