ROCKFORD, ND – A 26 year-old Crary, North Dakota man suffered a serious injury after he struck a deer while driving his motorcycle on Highway 15 east of New Rockford on Sunday night around 5:40pm.
The Highway Patrol said Cole Dimmler was traveling east bound when a deer came out of a ditch and onto the roadway. The impact moved the bike down on the left side and into a ditch. He came to rest underneath his motorcycle.
Dimmler was transported to Carrington hospital by New Rockford Ambulance. He was then flown by helicopter to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for further medical treatment. His condition has not been released.
