N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Dave Graybill, the founder of the international Pink Heals movement, started something called the Pink Heals Tour and brings pink fire trucks and police cars to locations across America to spread cancer awareness. One of those firetrucks will be in Jamestown this Summer.
According to Oakes Firefighter Ryan Marthaller, “Vivian” was commissioned for one of Dave’s and is one of roughly 8 pink fire trucks in the nation.
The truck will make its way to Jamestown for the 131st Annual North Dakota Firefighters State Convention on June 4th through the 6th and will part of the many community festivities including the Stutsman County Relay for Life.
Residents are encouraged to come to the event to view the Fire truck, sign it and ask questions about the firefighters and about the truck. It will also be available for the Running of the Pink in Jamestown that will take place that Saturday.
