N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It’s summertime and that means children venturing back and forth to different places in the community. Motorists are being reminded to watch for children this summer.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, a 10 year-old girl was injured after she was struck by a car Wednesday afternoon near the Middle School. As she exited the passenger side of a car parked in front of the school, she ran around the car and attempted to cross the street. She was then struck by a car.

The 10 year-old only received cuts from the incident and no citations were issued.
