(NewsDakota.com) – The WDA released it’s all-conference team Tuesday and two Jamestown Blue Jays made the cut. Starting shortstop Nick Fuchs made the team along with the Jays top pitcher Brian Wenzel.

Wenzel was also named to the all-state team for his performance in 2015. He was the Jays top starter for the past three years. Both athletes graduated last month.

Jamestown finished the season 8th in the state after not winning a game at the state tournament. The Jays went 0-3 losing to West Fargo, Shanley, and Century. They also finished 8th in 2013.
