CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Friends and co-workers said goodbye to former Barnes County Veteran Services officer Scott Crump last week.

Crump served as the Veteran Services officer for nearly two years in Barnes County. He moved to Hudson, Wisconsin to be with his wife who accepted a job last year.

Crump worked as a Barnes County Sheriff’s Deputy for 6 years before taking over as the Veteran Services officer. A farewell open house for Crump was held on May 29 in the Barnes County Courthouse.

Meanwhile Chad Clement is the new Veterans Service Officer in Barnes County. The St. Cloud, Minnesota native is married. He and his wife have two sons. He served in the Navy for 28 years.
