N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Running of the Pink started out as a benefit to help out those in need in the community and has since grown into a staple event for Jamestown to raise funds for organizations in need.

Race Master Jason Holmstead has been in charge of the event since the beginning. He stated that the event has come a long way since it first began 8 years ago.

Holmstead stated that 100% of all funds raised from the day will be donated to the Jamestown Women’s Way and JRMC for those who cannot afford breast cancer screenings.

Registration is still open and individuals can sign up the day of the event. The event is scheduled for this Saturday, June 6th. For more information, contact RM Stoudt in Jamestown at 701-252-2270 or go to Stoudtcars.com.
