N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown City Engineer’s Office has released an updated report on the current street closure on 4th Avenue Southeast.

Utility work began on Tuesday, June 2nd on 4th Avenue between 2nd Street & 3rd Street Southeast. The road was closed to motorists and other traffic and estimated completion has been moved to Friday, June 5th depending on weather conditions. The street will then be expected to re-open to the public on Saturday, June 6th.

Motorists are still asked to use extreme caution in and around the area and use alternative routes.
