N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It’s been reported that Foster County Commission Chairman Bill Bauer has put in his resignation from the commission.

According to the Foster County State’s Attorney office, Bauer put in his resignation during a regularly scheduled commission meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd. According to Foster County Auditor Casey Cables, the resignation came due to health reasons.

“He gave us his resignation now to allow us a month to find his replacement. He will be done at the end of this month.” she stated.

Bauer will be leaving the office after serving 6 months in the position.
