N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown residents will get the chance to cast their votes today from 7 am to 7 pm on whether or not to approve a sales tax on the proposed Two Rivers Activity Center.

Nearly 700 residents have already voted on the project by either absentee or early voting the past month. Residents will need to meet voting and ID requirements, must be at least 18 on election day and a resident in the precinct for 30 days preceding the election.

The vote will decide whether or not a 1% city sales tax will be used to help construction of the proposed $28.6 million Two Rivers Activity Center. The canvassing session will be held June 8th.
