N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Two Rivers Activity Center early voting will be concluding today and will begin the official vote process tomorrow in Jamestown.
TRAC has been a planned process over the course of more than 8 years and on June 2nd, a vote to use a 1% city sales tax to help fund the construction and beginning operation of the $28.6 million facility will take place. TRAC Board Member Amy Walters stated that those 8 years have built up to this moment.
It’s been reported that 656 early votes have already been cast. Jamestown residents are being encouraged to vote yes or no on the sales tax on June 2nd at the Jamestown Civic Center from 7 am to 7 pm. A canvassing session will be June 8th to count the ballots.
