N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown City Engineer Reed Schwartzkopf has announced that the city has received the final comments from the Federal Highway Administration on the Land Use & Transportation Plan.
According to Schwartzkopf, there is no substantial changes indicated from the previous version and he will be waiting to send out the final draft until June 12th. The agenda for the plan has also been announced. The City Council is scheduled to discuss the plan during their July 6th regular meeting.
Once the city has reviewed and discussed the plan, the City Engineering Department will conduct open house meetings to allow the public to discuss and review the city’s 1- and 5-year Transportation Improvement Plan. The final draft is expected to be released on June 12th.
