N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 131st Annual North Dakota Firefighters Convention is planned for June 4th through the 6th in Jamestown.
According to Executive Director Renee Loh, the event has been going on longer than North Dakota has been a state. Firefighters from rural areas across the state will be in Jamestown for the events.
“It allows the firefighters an opportunity to work as a group. Individuals from Carrington and other rural fire departments are set to take part in the weekend events.” Loh stated.
During the weekend, there will be a golf tournament, bike run, and a memorial service feature the Aberdeen Pipes and Drum Corps as volunteers and participants pause to remember those who served and have answered their final call. More information will be released as the event gets closer.
