N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown City Fire Department has released their run report for May 22nd through the 28th.

According to Fire Chief Jim Ruether, the department has responded to a total of 107 calls this year. Crews were on hand to assist with the individuals car that had been submerged in Pipestem Lake and also assisted with the semi rollover that occurred on Highway 20 near Jamestown. Below is a full list of runs, descriptions and dates of each run.

May 22nd, 4:04AM, fire department responded to 314 3rd Ave SW, Single Family Dwelling, to a report of smoke coming from an structure. Firefighters found no smoke/fire. Cause-unknown. No injuries reported. Time out 45 minutes.

May 24th, 2:06AM, Stutsman County Dive Team responded to 3000 78th Ave SE, Pipestem Damn, to of a report of a car in the water. Units were cancelled enroute, person were located. Time out 40 minutes.

May 25th, 11:57AM, ready squad responded to 1615 2nd Place NE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 47ppm was detected. Cause-furnace malfunction. Time out 45 minutes.

May 26th, 1:00AM, fire department responded to 920 4th Ave SE, Cenex C Store, to a report of a dumpster fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-under investigation. No injuries reported. Time out 50 minutes.

May 26th, 10:24AM, heavy rescue squad and hazmat team responded to Hwy 20 North Mile Marker #6, to of a semi rollover with person/s needing extrication with fuel leaking from the tanker. Firefighters extricated (1) person and contained the fuel leak. Jamestown Rural Fire Department assisted. Time out 1 hour 10 minutes.

May 26th, 9:28PM, ready squad responded to 311 3rd St SE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0ppm was detected. Cause-unknown.Time out 25 minutes.

May 28th, 7:52PM, ready squad responded to 2404 Circle Drive, NDSH-Tompkins Building to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-burnt food. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 35 minutes.
