N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their annual Yard of the Week nominations.

The Chamber and City Beautification Committee are seeking nominations for the summer that runs from June 4th through October 2nd. Individuals can nominate a neighbor, friend or anyone they think has a beautiful yard. The program was created to help recognize and appreciate individuals that take pride in beautifying the community.

Selections are based on regular mowing and trimming, flower beds, lawns free of weeds and disease, and other items. Winning yards will be featured in the Chamber Newsletter and will display the “Yard of the Week” sign.
