N.D. (NewsDakota.com) After falling in the quarterfinals to the Jamestown Blue Jays yesterday, the Valley City Hi-Liners took out their frustration out on Grand Forks Central this afternoon in Dickinson. 

The Hi-Liners broke the game open in the bottom of the fourth by scoring 6 runs, which resulted in Valley City’s 13-3 win over Grand Forks Central in 5 innings in the consolation semifinals. 

Valley City was paced by Madison McDaniel and Mackenzie Pederson offensively at the plate. 

McDaniel went 3-4 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI’s, while Pederson batted 2-4 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI’s. 

The Hi-Liners play against Bismarck Century in the consolation championship tomorrow in Dickinson.
