ND  (NewsDakota.com)  Braxton Hewitt pitches a five-hit shutout over Lewis & Clark/Parshall last night as the Cardinals advance to Friday nights semifinal round of the North Dakota State Class B High School Baseball Tourney.  Carrington scored two unearned runs in the bottom of the third inning for the 2-0 victory.  Austin Lee took the loss.  Carrington is now 18-6-1, the Wildcats drop to 19-8.

The Cards had three hits total, one each for Braxton Hewitt, Easton Paeper and Brady Bickett.  Austin Lee and Alec Lee each had two hits for the Wildcats and Marco Guerrero had a hit.  

Next up for No. 4 Carrington will be tonight’s second semifinal game (May 29) against No. 1 Grafton, pregame will start about 6:30pm on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com.
