(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Country Club hosted the Class B girls golf state tournament Tuesday and Wednesday and Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter left as the champions. The Imperials edged Kindred by a stroke to claim the title.
Kaitlyn Hubrig of Hankinson was the individual winner taking down defending state champion Kara Mattson of Heart River by a single stroke. Mattson was the defending state champion.
Napoleon lead after Day 1 over South Border by one and Heart River was three back. Kindred shaved seven strokes off their Day 1 total to finish second.
