(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High boys golf team missed out on qualifying for the state golf tournament on Tuesday when they finished ninth at the WDA tournament. The top-six teams at the final West Region meet qualify for state. Jamestown’s total of 344 was ten shots off Century’s 334, the Patriots were the final team to qualify.
St. Mary’s carded a 314 to win the conference title at Bismarck’s Riverwood Golf Course. Jamestown will send Austin Rene and Nick Stockert to state as individuals, they had previously qualified.
