N.D. (AP) – North Dakota is searching for its 2015 Dairy Princess. The North Dakota division of the Midwest Dairy Association is seeking candidates for this year’s contest scheduled for June 28 and 29.

The winner will serve as the as the official goodwill ambassador for the state’s dairy industry. She will help the dairy checkoff program communicate with consumers regarding dairy farmers’ stewardship for animals and natural resources, the safety and wholesomeness of dairy products, and the importance of dairy to North Dakota’s economy.

Women interested in participating in the contest must be 18-23 years old and have a strong interest in the dairy industry. The entry deadline is June 15th.
