(NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown women’s golf team finished their first-ever trip to the NAIA National Tournament in the Top-25. They were unable to make the cut into the Top-17 to play in the final round on Friday, but nonetheless ended as a Top-25 team.
The tournament was played at Savannah Quarters Country Club in Cooler, GA. Jamestown didn’t start very well in the opening round on Tuesday and it kind of ended their shot to make the cut.
The Jimmies are expected to return all five of their top golfers in 2015-16 when Dean Kraft will take over from Dustin Jensen as the head golf coach.
