N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 55 year-old man was arrested after sideswiping a Semi on I-94 near Oriska early May 14th.

According to Sgt. Tom Herzig, Steven Ward of Fergus Falls, MN was traveling westbound on I-94 at around 4:47 AM when he attempted to pass a semi. In the process, Ward sideswiped the right rear and left front bumper of the semi. After impact, Ward continued before exiting onto Highway 32.

Law Enforcement discovered the vehicle at the Oriska School where Ward was in the process of changing a flat tire. He was arrested for DUI and will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident. The crash remains under investigation.
