N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Two Rivers Activity Center Board will be hosting the last of three open forums this Friday to answer the public’s questions about the project.

The forum will be held at the North Dakota Farmers Union headquarters in Jamestown at 7:00 PM. The session will be a chance for Jamestown and area residents to come out and learn more about the project and ask questions about financial costs, implications of the project, and what it will bring to the community

The proposed $40 million project will be initiating early voting on May 18th at the Stutsman County Courthouse. The special election vote will be held June 2nd to approve or disapprove of a 1% city sales tax to help construct and operate the facility. If approved, the facility could begin construction this fall.
