N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Senators and Representatives of both District’s 12 and 29 were in Jamestown on May 11th to answer resident’s questions on different state legislative issues that occurred during the 2015 session.
Members attending the question and answer in Jamestown included State Senator (R) Terry Wanzek, State Representative ( R ) Chet Pollert, and State Representative (R) Craig Headland of District 12 and State Senator ( D ) John Grabinger, State Represenative ( D ) Jessica Haak, and State Representative ( R ) Alex Looysen of Disctrict 29.
State Senator Terry Wanzek started off the night with his thoughts on the entire legislative session.
State Senator John Grabinger also gave his input on how he felt this year’s legislative session went.
Residents from Stutsman County asked questions ranging from Higher Education funding to Common Core, the Dairy and Swine bill, Oil Extraction taxation and funding of Local and Statewide Law Enforcement.
All senators and representatives were asked how they felt they served their constituents at the end of the legislative wrap-up with each member agreeing that they were all there for one reason and that was to serve the state of North Dakota to the best of their abilities.
