N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – After weeks of dry conditions in the state, it appears that parts of North Dakota will be experiencing the extreme opposite of that.
According to meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Bismarck, a strong spring storm will be approaching the northern plains over the weekend with the greatest impacts possible on Sunday. Dickey County Emergency Manager Charlie Russell states that the storm will create potentially hazardous travel over the Southwest portion of the state.
“Snow will pose a threat to young livestock. Mainly on and South of Interstate 94.” Russell stated.
The potential storm and snow accumulations are unknown at this time.
