N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The price of fuel continues to climb just before the start of the summer season.

According to the website GasBuddy.com, fuel in the nation has climbed to an average of $2.66. That’s up .07 cents from last week, but still remains more than a dollar lower than just a year ago.

North Dakota’s cost for regular fuel is also seeing an increase, currently sitting at $2.49. The cost is up roughly .08 cents, but again is lower than it was a year ago. The lowest cost of fuel in Jamestown is about $2.39. That’s less than both the state and national averages for regular fuel.
