CITY (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Hi Liner baseball team scored only 5 runs in the doubleheader against the Fargo South Bruins, but their pitching came through in the end at Charlie Brown Memorial Field. 

Nate Rodriguez pitched a complete-game shutout, while striking out nine Bruins. The Hi-Liners won 1-0 over Fargo South in game one.

Valley City finished the doubleheader with a 4-3 win in game two over the Bruins.
